Popa Chubby believes that music should be dangerous. Born Ted Horowitz, this blazing blues guitarist got his start playing punk in New York City over 25 years ago. He cut his teeth on the CBGB stage playing guitar for the outlandish, horror movie-inspired act Screaming Mad George. He was later recruited to play bass with punk icon Richard Hell in The Voidoids. The Old Georgetown Road Garage, located at 11580 Old Georgetown Road, North Bethesda, MD 20852, is directly beneath AMP. The best way to enter the garage is by making a right turn directly into the garage from westbound Old Georgetown Road (between Grand Park Avenue and Executive Blvd). Follow the signs to the AMP elevator and go directly to level 4. The new Trade Street Garage is located at 11860 Trade Street, North Bethesda, MD 20852, right across from AMP and adjacent to the Per Sei apartments. Both are very convenient to the venue.
