Andrew Lloyd Webber’s smash hit Broadway musical, “School of Rock”, makes its Maryland premiere at The Highwood Theatre. Featuring a talented cast of 29 student actors (2nd through 12th grade), this is the student theatre event of the season!
Stick it to the man! Based on the smash hit film of the same name, this high-octane musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber tells the story of guitarist Dewey Finn - recently out of a job and mistakenly employed as a substitute teacher. Dewey forms a rock band in his unsuspecting class of private school students and enters them into the local Battle of the Bands. But, how far will he go to reclaim his former glory? There is a large public parking garage located two doors down from our Silver Spring office and rehearsal space. Rates in the garage are $0.70/hour. Street parking is also available for $1.00/hour. We do not supply coins for metered parking near our rehearsal space. Please bring plenty of quarters or visit https://mobile-now.us/ to set up a mobile parking account to use in Silver Spring, MD. Parking is free after 7:00 PM and on weekends.
