Enjoy a free concert featuring music of Brahms, Aaron Copland, and Chinese composer Zhang Zhao. We’ll fill the hall with the sounds of piano, violin, clarinet, and string quartet. Come for great music, engaging commentary, and an informal vibe.
The program opens with Brahms D minor sonata played by violinist Carolyn Wu and pianist John Earle. Then pianist Steve Schwarz takes the stage for music of China's leading composer, Zhang Zhao. Steve will play the "Melodies of China: Chinese Folk Songs Arranged for Piano."

Ample parking behind the church.
Finding the Parking: Heading north on Old Georgetown Road, you'll see a low stone wall in front of the church. Take the first right turn after the wall, into the church's driveway. You'll see a Parking by Permission Only sign. Rest assured you have permission! The second driveway goes into the Bethesda Chevy-Chase rescue squad, which is next door.
Walkable from Bethesda Metro.
Patrons using wheelchairs are welcome to arrive before 3 pm, to use the first, step-free door into the sanctuary. After the concert begins, the back door has one step.
