Spring into the Archives!: Transcibe-a-thon

Transcribe original archival documents, helping to make these fascinating and important artifacts searchable and accessible to all.

For this month’s transcribe-a-thon, we are wrapping up the spring season with a few featured items from our collection from the Home Interest and Horticultural Societies, which began in late 19th century and are still active today! On the day of the event, the Museum’s Transcription Coordinator will be available via Zoom to answer your questions and help you through the transcription process.

You do not have to stay for the entire two hours or arrive at the start.  Feel free to drop in and work for as long as you like.

This opportunity is appropriate for ages 13 and up.  Many documents require the ability to read and transcribe cursive.  SSL hours are available.
