Spring Plant Sale at Maydale Nature Classroom

Growing native plants encourages beneficial insects, birds, and other wildlife in your community. Support your backyard ecosystem with this fundraising event benefiting Maydale Nature Classroom.

Select and pay for your plants online. You will then be contacted by Maydale staff to arrange a pickup time for Saturday, April 24 from 10 am to 2 pm. Online sales only; no in-person sales. All orders must be placed by noon on Thursday, April 22.

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
