Summer Concert: Elikeh

Elikeh is an Afro-pop band founded by the Togolese artist, Serge Massama Dogo. Elikeh uses elements of Togolese rhythms (Agbadja, Kamu) as a foundation for exploration into American-influenced blues, funk, and rock to produce captivating Afro-pop tunes that are as listenable as they are danceable. This concert is made possible with a Maryland State Arts Council Touring Artist Grant.

The Bumper Car Pavilion is completely covered; concerts will be held rain or shine. Praline at Glen Echo will be open or bring a picnic dinner. The Dentzel carousel will be open from 7 – 9 pm, $1.25/ride.
