Summer Twilight Concert Series

Join us on three Tuesday evenings in August for a series of musical performances set in the beauty of Brookside Gardens!

Admission is free, and no registration is required. Bring your friends and family, and don’t forget your chairs, blankets, and picnics (allowed in the Gardens on concert evenings only). Food trucks will also be available for your dining pleasure. All concerts are located on the visitor center lawn.

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
