TGIF Crafty Gals: Wreath

Get festive this holiday season with a homemade wreath!

Nature centers aren't just for kids. Grab your favorite girlfriends and head on over to Locust Grove Nature Center for their ongoing TGIF Crafty Gals series! Each month, the naturalists host a fun nature-themed craft like jewelry, terrariums and more. It's a fun evening to chat, sip wine and munch on cheese and chocolate.

This December, you'll be making a fun and festival holiday wreath.

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
