Have fun finding out what makes Gaithersburg a great place to live and play. Enjoy bear tastings from Brawling Bear Brewing.

Gaithersburg resident and creator of the blog and podcast The MoCo Show Alex Tsironis explores what makes Gaithersburg a great place to live and play.

Tasting with Brawling Bear, currently Gaithersburg’s only microbrewery at 7 p.m.; talk at 7:30 p.m. (Must be 21 years to be served alcohol). Program will be held in the museum's vintage 1953 RDC rail car.

The National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA) advocates for better representation of women artists and serves as a vital center for thought leadership, community engagement, and social change.

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
