The Poetry of Glass: Demonstration and Hands-on Glass Art Day

Join exhibiting artists from the National Capital Art Glass Guild (NCAGG) as they demonstrate a variety of glass art techniques both inside and outside of the Museum throughout regular open hours, 12-4 pm. Eight member artists from NCAGG will demonstrate how glass is blown, how Tiffany-style stained glass pieces are copper-foiled and soldered, how glass is cut, how mosaics are made, and more. Visitors can drop in throughout the day and will get to try their hand at some of the techniques. Glass art will also be for sale.
