Join a naturalist at the boat ramp parking area in Black Hill Regional Park to view waterfowl dabbling and diving. This is a favorite morning spot for Buffleheads, Hooded Mergansers, Mallards, and Canada Geese.
We will observe from the parking area and take a quick walk to the Cabin Branch sediment pond peninsula, where we have seen everything from coots to beavers! Dress for the weather. Please register everyone attending. You will need to provide your own binoculars due to COVID-19 precautions.
This program is offered as part of Black Hill Nature Program’s month-long Virtual Waterfowl Festival in February.
$2 per person. Pre-registration required, no walk-ins.
