William Guanbo Su, Bass in Concert

International sensation – William Guanbo Su, bass – presents a concert of art songs, operatic arias, and Chinese folk songs on January 25, 2020 at Washington Adventist University. Mr. Su was a Grand Final Winner at the 2019 Metropolitan Opera National Council Audition, First Prize winner of the 2017 Liederkranz Foundation Song/Lieder Competition, Third Prize winner of the 2018 Gerda Lissner Opera Competition, and most recently the second prize winner at the Eleanor McCollum Competition at Houston Grand Opera in 2019. He has appeared on the prestigious stages of the Houston Grand Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, and the Chinese National Centre of the Performing Arts. He will be joined by award-winning pianist Linzi Pan.
