Join us for an evening of wine and waterfowl art at the Visitor Center. View the winners of the Federal Duck Stamp Contest, decoys, and other local arts that highlight our feathered friends. As the sun sets, watch our resident waterfowl land on the lake for the night. Admission includes one glass of local wine from Rockland Farms and snacks.

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
