    The F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre is a 446-seat facility for the performing arts, home to Rockville Musical Theatre, Rockville Little Theatre, Rockville Civic Ballet, and Victorian Lyric Opera Company. The Montgomery County facility is operated as a rental venue for both public and private events, including presentations, ceremonies, and performances. Located in Rockville Civic Center Park, the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre is in the heart of Rockville, just blocks off Route 28. The theatre is one mile from Rockville Metro station, and free parking lots are available for patrons.

    The Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture, Inc. manages Glen Echo Park, one of the most lively visual and performing arts sites in the Washington area. Each year, more than 375,000 people come to the Park to renew their creative spirit through arts classes, festivals, exhibitions, dances, children’s theater, music performances, nature programs, and more.     ALOHA! WE ARE HĀLAU NOHONA HAWAIʻI, which refers to all things anchored in Hawaiian; living the Hawaiian way. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit Hawaiian cultural school located in Silver Spring, MD. Our goal is to enrich and make a positive impact on our communities by sharing the spirit of aloha. Classes are available for children (starting at age 4) and adults alike starting with beginner to advanced students (with separate women’s and men’s classes). Classes are held each Sunday (excluding most holidays) at the White Oak Community Recreation Center in Silver Spring, MD. Currently, classes consist of ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian Language), Hula Kahiko (Ancient Hula), Hula ʻAuana (Modern Hula), Oli (Chant), Hawaiian Singing Choir, and Hawaiian Arts and Crafts for all ages and levels.

    Hope Garden Children's Ballet Theatre (HGCBT), a non-profit organization, provides performing opportunities to the students of Hope Garden Ballet Academy and to classical dancers in the region who wish to display their talents. Applicants who would like to perform with us must audition for our performances. HGCBT upholds the traditions and history of classical ballet while venturing into the world of contemporary ballet and movement by continuing the education of the young people involved - stretching their minds and exploring their understanding of movement art, anatomy, musicality, and theater.

    Justice Arts Coalition (JAC) unites teaching artists, arts advocates, currently and formerly incarcerated artists, and allies, harnessing the transformative power of the arts to reimagine justice. Through the sharing of resources, stories, and learning opportunities, JAC is building a nationwide collective of people who are committed to increasing opportunities for creative expression in carceral settings, amplifying the voices of those most impacted by mass incarceration, and shaping public dialogue around the intersection of the arts and justice.

    Kalanidhi Dance captivates audiences in the U.S. and around the world, demystifying the rich and ancient tradition of Kuchipudi dance through exquisitely conceptualized and choreographed performances. It also trains and develops new generations of Kuchipudi dancers in the U.S, while touring with them across the country and in India and South East Asia. Kalanidhi Dance aspires to maintain an uncompromising commitment to the highest standards of the Indian classical dance tradition while pushing its boundaries to experiment with different forms of artistic expression in dance to access new audiences.

    Kalanidhi Dance is a non-profit organization that is committed to the preservation, promotion and education of Kuchipudi dance, an Indian Classical dance style that originated in Andhra Pradesh, India. Founded by Anuradha Nehru in 1991, Kalanidhi’s mission is to raise the profile of Indian Classical dance in the United States by presenting professional and outstanding quality dance productions and training the next generation of Indian Classical dancers to the highest standards.

    One of the finest schools of classical ballet in the region. Early Dance classes for children ages 2 to 4 years and pre-professional Academy classes for youth ages 5 to 19 years.     Founded in 1989, Metropolitan Ballet Theatre and Academy is a nonprofit arts education organization offering classes in creative movement, early ballet, classical ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, tap, fitness and adaptive ballet.  The organization serves the community in three ways:  a premier dance academy open to all community members, professional and accessible productions and performing opportunities, and through civic engagement and arts outreach efforts. Performing annually: The Nutcracker and a Spring Dance Concert.

    Open Circle Theatre (OCT) is Washington, DC’s first professional theatre dedicated to producing professional productions that integrate the considerable talents of artists with disabilities. OCT was formed by a group of people with and without disabilities, who possess professional theater experience, love of the theater, and a commitment to full access for all persons in every opportunity our community has to offer.  Note: upcoming/current productions take place at the Silver Spring Black Box Theatre.

    The Performing Arts Repertory Company (PARC) is a non-profit performing group. PARC produces original story ballets, theatre performances, in-school workshops and dance demonstrations. PARC’s intent is to present quality community based arts, make them more viable, enrich the community and encourage children to learn through the arts. PARC also collaborates with other arts organizations to showcase performances of ethnic and stylistically diverse dance and provides a venue for student dancers to perform. PARC’s outreach and education programs are intended to provide dance-based activities that demonstrate excellence, involve, teach and expand the perspectives of participants and encourage them to develop an appreciation of dance and theater. PARC provides group leaders and teachers with written materials in advance of the performances, and also visits for lecture, discussions and demonstrations prior to the performances to enhance the children’s understanding of the stories and elements of performing arts.

    Prakriti Dance is a performing company founded by Co-Artistic Directors Kasi Aysola and Madhvi Venkatesh. It uses the movement vocabulary of the Indian classical dance form, Bharata Natyam, to communicate inspirations from nature, philosophy and human experience. Prakriti Dance uses traditional lexicon to communicate diverse ideas that are relevant across all communities. By interweaving lyrics, dance, and visual design, Prakriti Dance explores multifaceted presentations to transcend cultural boundaries. The company seeks to engage with diverse audiences through vivid performances and workshops to promote understanding and appreciation of Bharata Natyam.

    Strathmore is a nonprofit based in North Bethesda, Maryland, that presents concerts, art exhibitions, afternoon teas, family festivals, summer camps, classes, private rentals, and more. The Music Center at Strathmore is home to an acoustically superb 1,976-seat concert hall that welcomes world-class artists, plus an education center where students of all ages have learning opportunities in music and dance. Strathmore has also presented in the smaller Mansion at Strathmore since 1981, which currently features intimate artistic programs in a 100-seat music room, art exhibitions, the Shop at Strathmore, and afternoon teas. Finally, Strathmore presents throughout the community and at its new 250-seat venue, AMP by Strathmore, located in Pike & Rose.

    The Sutradhar Institute of Dance and Related Arts (SIDRA) offers Kuchipudi classical dance as a technically perfectible, elegant art, an audience empowering experience and joyous classroom learning,.  To bouncing four year olds up to dedicated adults, SIDRA brings a rich tapestry of yoga, cross-training, story telling, martial arts and rhythm analysis.  Workouts wind down with hand mudras, Sanskrit shlokas and sacred stories from India.  Older students follow lively exchanges before and after class about art.  Guided by Nilimma Devi, noted AIIS scholar, and Anila Kumari, writer, the classes coax dancers to think and be passionate.
