Inside Outside, Upside Down invites artists to submit recent work produced between March 2020 and February 2021 that speaks to the struggle and resiliency of the human spirit in the face of the global covid-19 pandemic and recent social upheavals.

Artists are requested to carefully review these guidelines, then between February 14 and 28, 2021. Submissions will be capped at 1,000 entries to ensure fair and thoughtful review; if we reach 1,000 entries before February 28, a notification will be posted on the website.

The Phillips Collection deeply values and is committed to sustaining and promoting diversity in the arts. We encourage artists from all backgrounds and experience levels to apply.
