POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director of Regranting is a core member of the Dance/USA Team who designs, administers, and helps set policy for a national funding program and represents Dance/USA with applicants, grantees, and funders. Duties are as follows:

Program design.  Run planning meetings with fellow Dance/USA Team members, consultants, and advisors to refine structure of and criteria for funding; design and revise program structure and guidelines.

Administration.  Set timeline for all aspects of the program and coordinate tasks and milestones.  Set, supervise, and reconcile $1.9 million budget. Secure and supervise consultants and assistance to complete the goals of the program. Regularly update Dance/USA’s Executive Director and Team on all aspects of program.

Application review.  Engage with applicants on all aspects of the application and grantmaking process, including development of and feedback on proposals.  Create systems to accept and track all application-related data, as well as information about panelists. Serve as main point of contact for application-related questions and submission process. Identify and construct panel as well as content specialists; devise review process for both phases of application review process, including policies, materials, scoring systems, databases, and meeting structure. Design and facilitate panel meetings.

Post-panel notification, reporting and grant management.  Notify all applicants of funding decisions and provide feedback to those who were and were not funded. Communicate with Fellows about requirements, expectations, and monitor systems for tracking payments and reporting.

Grantee meetings and learning community.  Design and run grantee meetings, including content, facilitation, and logistics. Provide technical assistance to grantees and/or recommend professional development resources.

Evaluation and reporting.  Develop and refine methods and systems to assess the impact of grants and funded programs. Conduct limited evaluation of all aspects of the program, including quantitative and qualitative data on review process, meetings, lessons learned, and information sharing among members. In collaboration with key Dance/USA Team members, write reports for and attend meetings with funder, as well as shape program design and proposal for any future round(s).

External Relations and long-term planning.  Represent Dance/USA at meetings, forums, and public presentations, as appropriate.  Prepare written materials for review by funders and the Dance/USA Board.  Identify and cultivate relationships with consultants, nonprofit and community leaders, and funders that can be engaged to advise on policies, review applications, offer coaching and capacity building, and institute professional development and trainings. As possible, conduct research and program design on other regranting initiatives.

COMPENSATION

$75,000 plus benefits package, including full medical, retirement benefits, and paid vacation and sick leave.
