Dance Place, a nationally recognized cultural arts center in Washington, DC, seeks a part-time COVID Compliance Monitor to support and enhance Dance Place’s protocols for keeping our community safe.

This is an hourly position with benefits. Work hours are generally flexible during the weekdays, with work on weekends and evenings for some  classes and events. This position is short term, beginning as soon as possible, and concluding August 15. There is a possibility for the position to continue past that time period pending federal and local health recommendations.

This newly designated position is responsible for refining existing COVID-19 protocols, enforcing these protocols, training staff, and monitoring compliance on the Dance Place campus, and for all Dance Place events both on- and off-site. This position is intended for a person who is educated in the transmission of the COVID-19 virus, disinfection, social distancing, CDC, local, and state guidelines, and other information related to preventing the spread of infection in an office setting, as well as a live performing arts setting. This person is responsible for safety compliance and warm and firm enforcement of rules.

COMPENSATION

This is an hourly position with a rate between $15.50 to $18 per hour
