From June 15-18, 2022, as we enter our seventh decade of serving the theatre field, TCG will join with theatre-makers in Pittsburgh – a city that TCG also happens to claim as its founding home – to host our first hybrid National Conference, embracing the duality of both in-person and virtual programming. Whether you join us on the ground or online, you’ll be part of a single Conference community on distinct but converging paths of content: the virtual experience from June 15-17, and the in-person experience from June 16-18 in Pittsburgh. Through fluid, action-oriented programming arcs on Redefining our Art, Transforming our Practices, and Tending to our People, we will take inspiration from our host city as we reflect on our shared yet imbalanced challenges, galvanize for our collective future, and develop new ground. Together. We’re looking forward to seeing you virtually, or in Pittsburgh!

To access the Early Bird rate, you must use the code CONF22EARLY at checkout.
Early Bird pricing for in-person registration is available through Friday, April 15th or until sold out. There is no early bird rate for virtual registration.
The deadline to register for in-person attendance is Thursday, June 9th, while virtual registration will remain available until June 15th.
*TCG Member rates are available to staff and board members at TCG Member Theatres or Affiliates as well as TCG Individual Members. If you have any questions about your membership status, please contact info@tcg.org for assistance.
Please note: In an effort to make the Conference experience more flexible for different budgets, our registration process offers you the opportunity to opt into lunch on all three Conference days, as well as breakfast on Friday, at an additional charge. All coffee breaks are also included in your Conference registration fee, and all meals will take place at the Westin Pittsburgh.

Scholarships and Subsidies:
Scholarships and subsidies are available with a minimum of 51% of support awarded to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), TGNC, and disability communities. The distribution of this support is aligned with our commitment to centering these communities. In addition, we encourage multigenerational representation and applications from those who are: 30 years old and under, 60 years old and over.
The application will close Friday, April 1, 2022. We will not be able to consider late applications. All applicants will be notified via email by April 15th, 2022.
