2022 Open Call for Resident Artists

Torpedo Factory Art Center is accepting applications for Resident Artists—individuals or groups of up to four—who will earn three-year leases. Current Resident Artists, as well as regional artists seeking to join the community, are encouraged to apply.

Eligibility

Visual artists at all levels of their respective careers, who are over the age of 21, are eligible to apply for the 2022 studio jury. Mediums includes, but are not limited to:

• • Painting
  • Ceramics
  • Photography
  • Jewelry
  • Glass
  • Fiber
  • Printmaking
  • Sculpture
  • Digital
  • Mixed media
  • New or extended media
  • Video / Time-base art

Application Fee

$45 per new applicant (or applicant group). Free to current Resident Artists. If the application fee is a barrier, email torpedofactory@alexandriava.gov for a free link to an application.
