Learn how to write proposals to request grants from funders. This workshop will cover how to research prospects, the elements of a good proposal, and how to approach funders. Proposal writing is a practical skill that, applied to those who work or volunteer for non-profit organizations, can be a good source of freelance writing income. Please come to class with a non-profit or project in mind to use as the focus of your research and proposal. By the end of class, you will have a draft of a proposal to use for fundraising. This class will meet for three Saturdays (January 21-February 4), and then reconvene on March 4 to review finished proposals.
