LOCATION: Bethesda, MD

DEPARTMENT: Marketing and Communications

FLSA Status: Exempt

Hours:  Full-Time, Monday-Friday, with some evenings and weekends

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Marketing Content Manager will be an essential member of our Marketing and Communications team, creating brand-aligned, strategically-messaged collateral materials to support public-facing communications across the three programming pillars of IStage (Professional Theatre, Education, and Theatre for Change). The content reflects and supports the mission of Imagination Stage to empower all young people to discover their voice and identity through performing arts education and professional theatre and speaks to a wide range of stakeholders around the DMV.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing and designing (using Canva or Adobe Design suite) and/or overseeing creation by contracted or in-house graphic and video designer of:

- Postcards,

-Videos, photos, including for website and promo videos

-Social media posts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and/or TikTok

-Eblasts

-Show collaterals (hand cards, programs, and actor screens)Posters for shows and events

  • Content Marketing Manager also creates and maintains:

-Template for student show collaterals (hand cards and programs), to be updated and implemented by Education team

-Programming of video screens in our building and periodically updating display cases posters inside and outside of our building.

  • Content Marketing Manager also supports special projects and events as needed, including:

-Designing t-shirts, banners, and other branded materials.

-Updating visual and verbal brand guidelines.

-Ensuring adherence to brand standards across the organization.

Other Important Duties

  • Assists in staffing internal and external events, which may require nights and/or weekends.
  • Execute other duties as needed to support organization goals.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Salary: $50,000-$60,000
