Each piece is an expression of an internal personal challenge that is described through a multilayered personal tableau. The use of rhythm, movement and balance helps to illustrate each story. Formally, the drawings explore line, color, texture, and composition, sometimes using the horizon line as a stabilizing element. Inspired by the environment and reflective of an inner world, these drawings are viewed up close in order to see the subtleties and gradations that live within all of us.
