Graduates of the Extreme Novelist course will join other fiction writers who have completed one or more short stories, a novella, or at least half of their novel to take on the challenge of revising and polishing their work to meet the tough demands of today?s fiction market. This course is intended for writers serious about their publication goals and in need of gentle but experienced guidance. Students will learn ways to avoid the most common issues that result in rejection. Exposition, dialogue, characterization, focus, and pacing will be analyzed and corrected when necessary. Options for individual plotting issues will be discussed and applied to their manuscripts and mutual support provided by the group.
