Auditorium - Two short films about the Chinese American experience. "The Life of Cheng Se Tseo in His Own Words" presents the story of a Chinese-American who lived to 98 and along the way defeated an opium addiction, served in Chang Kai Shek’s Nationalist Army, was a sailor in the American Navy during World War II, and created pottery in his later years. "Chinatown" is the story of residents in DC’s Chinatown struggling to maintain their heritage in the midst of a changing neighborhood. A conversation with filmmakers Simone Fary and Yi Chen will follow the screening. Free.
