 Auditorium - C-SPAN’s Richard Hall presents a selection of short films depicting Washington, DC as it once was including the slice-of-life “Dawn Strikes the Capitol” (9 mins., 1936), “Washington in War Time” (9 mins., 1943) and clips from a variety of silent films such as a trip on the C&O Canal “Down the Old Potomac” (1917), and “Historic Scenes Along the Mount Vernon Highway” (1933).
