Based on the core principles and practices of Dance Exchange, our Teen Exchange offers opportunities for youth ages 13-18 to deepen their dance training and develop their choreographic potential through studio practice, performance, and creative organizational leadership. Teens will collaborate closely with each other, and with Dance Exchange company members and co-directors Matthew Cumbie and Sam Horning, and will help organize and facilitate public events and performances. Members of the Teen Exchange will have opportunities to create their own choreographic work, to expand their abilities as leaders in their community, to develop new friendships, participate in Dance Exchange creative projects, and take other Dance Exchange classes at a discount.
