In Honor of Native American Heritage Month
This special, shortened show is designed for students with a Q&A.
Three-time Grammy Award-winning Native American floutist Robert Mirabal joins the critically-acclaimed string quartet ETHEL to take audiences on a cross-cultural musical journey of instrumental virtuosity and storytelling. The River evokes timeless Taos Pueblo Native American traditions through a mixture of music, narrative and ritual. The gorgeous, visionary classical sounds complement traditional Native American instruments, embodying the spirit of water and its essential role of life on earth. Following the performance, stick around after for a meet and greet with the artists.
