Sevillanas are divided in four sections called “coplas”. Sevillanas are danced in partners by children, teenagers and adults at nightclubs, parties, and most famously at the annual Feria de Abril in Sevilla. This class will dedicate one day to each of the coplas/sections so that by the end of the class the student will have learned all four Sevillanas. The class is suitable for those who are looking to review their Sevillanas and those looking to learn Sevillanas for the first time. Prior flamenco experience is helpful but not required; this class is suitable for dancers of all levels and styles.
