History Happy Hour: The Secret of the LADY & the UNICORN: Revealed!

History Happy Hour: The Secret of the LADY & the UNICORN: Revealed!

Presented by Sandy Spring Museum at Sandy Spring Museum

Tapestry designer and historian Dirk Holger explores the elusive meanings attributed to the symbolism depicted in medieval tapestries. Among them is an allegory of the five senses, a love triangle, a delicate political affair and the revelation of the mysterious “lady.” Mr. Holger, whose work is on exhibit at the museum from January - February, was an apprentice to Jean Lurcat. Happy Hours are sponsored by Therrien Waddell Construction Group.
