This exhibition brings together four artists – Bonnie B. Collier, Kaitlin Jencso, Muriel Hasbun and Miriam Mörsel Nathan – whose photo-based work explores the ways that memories and personal histories can be reclaimed, reconstructed, and reimagined. The artists in this exhibition embrace a variety of processes and techniques. Archival photographs and documents are manipulated, juxtaposed, and embellished. Fragments of scenes obscured by movement and light are offered up. Together, the works suggest loss, nostalgia, and a desire to pay tribute to persons, places, and moments past.
