Join Washington Revels for our Annual Pub Sing at the traditional Irish pub and restaurant McGinty’s Public House in Silver Spring!
Gathering at an Irish pub for a bit of singing gives us the perfect excuse to dabble in celebratory, glass-raising songs from many cultures! Dust off your vocal chords and get ready to join in on rollicking tunes from England, Ireland, Scotland, Quebec, Denmark, and other cultures from around our globe.
Join Washington Revels for our annual Pub Sing at the traditional Irish pub and restaurant McGinty’s Public House in Silver Spring. We’ll be easy to find—head to the second-floor bar area and follow the sounds of good cheer. Food and drinks may be ordered beginning at 6:00pm. Singing will begin at 7:00pm and formally end at 9:00pm, with a brief intermission. Kids and teens are welcome—there may be a song or two that celebrate the virtue of drink, but not many.
All songs will be sing-alongs with leaders who will treat us to a variety of songs, lore, and toasts, and song sheets will be provided as well.
Admission may be available at the door, but we strongly recommend that you purchase your tickets in advance online (no fees!) because seating is limited and we regularly sell out in advance. Ticket proceeds go entirely to Washington Revels; food and beverage may be ordered separately from the McGinty’s regular menu at your expense. Tickets range from $10-$23.
