Nationally acclaimed ceramic artist Suze Lindsay will demonstrate how to make various shapes both on and off the wheel and how to combine wheel-thrown and hand-built components into unique forms; decoration techniques using slips and glazes. The workshop is two full days, March 25 and 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The opening slideshow on March 24 is free and open to the public, although registration is required. Registration begins February 12.
$210 for current Glen Echo Pottery students who register and pay by February 28, 2017; $230 for nonstudents and anyone who signs up after February 28. Opening night slideshow is free, but registration is required and space is limited.
