Like a book club, but with documentary films! At each Popcorn Docs gathering, we will discuss a different documentary film chosen by our esteemed Docs in Progress team. Each person who signs up will watch the film on his/her own and then come together at Docs in Progress for a lively guided conversation with great company and, of course, popcorn! A great way to mix, mingle and get fresh perspectives on the documentaries that strike a chord. Great films, dialogue, community and popcorn. What’s not to love? Join us!
Our first Popcorn Docs features JESUS CAMP (2006), the riveting Oscar-nominated feature from Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady. JESUS CAMP is available to watch on Netflix streaming and for rent on Amazon streaming. You should watch the film on your own ahead of time and then come to Popcorn Docs ready to discuss. Your co-hosts for this event will be Executive Director Erica Ginsberg and Programs Manager Andrea Passafiume.

Our entrance is on Apple Ave. around the corner from Alexander House.
The Cameron Street garage is open 24/7 and requires payment between 7 am - 7 pm on weekdays ($1 per hour for the first four hours and 65 cents per hour for each additional hour). Parking in the garage is free on weekends, federal holidays, and after 7 pm on weekdays. You must remember your space number and pay at one of the pay stations with cash, credit card, or the ParkMobile or MobileNow apps.
You can also sometimes find nearby metered street parking as well. While street spaces are usually free after 6 pm, they do require payment during the daytime Mondays-Saturdays and most are limited to one or two hours. Meters accept coins or the Parkmobile and MobileNow apps.
Do NOT park (or even stand) in any spots marked for police only.
