Team of Stars Camp fosters positive youth development through musical theater, which acts as the vehicle to address important issues and life skills. The is FREE for middle schoolers whose families reside in affordable housing or receive FARMS.
Team of Stars Summer Camp is from June 26 to July 27, Mondays through Thursdays, at Gaithersburg MS. Adult facilitators are professionals in their fields. Campers receive breakfast, lunch and snacks. For a small fee parents/guardians may register their child(ren) for after-camp care, as well as for activities on Fridays (when the Camp is not in session). Transportation is available through the Housing Opportunities Commission on a first come/first served basis for families who reside in affordable housing or qualify for FARMS. The community is welcome to an open-house dress rehearsal on Wednesday, July 26 at 1:30pm and the final performance on Thursday, July 27 at 6pm.
