Providing the rhythmic backbone for Bruce Springsteen since the early ’70s, Garry Tallent is a true bass legend.
As a founding member of the renowned E Street Band, Tallent brought his musicianship and bass groove to every Springsteen album from 1973 to 1987, including acclaimed records Darkness on the Edge of Town and Born in the USA. During a sojourn from the E Street Band in the ’90s, Tallent relocated to Nashville where he found a love of country and rockabilly music that has embedded itself deep into the DNA of his solo work. Tallent brings the signature musicianship and assured voice of 2016’s Break Time to AMP for an intimate evening of songs and stories.
Award-winning guitarist Shun Ng opens the show with his unique blend of soul, funk, and jazz.

The best way to enter the garage is by making a right turn directly into the garage from westbound Old Georgetown Road (between Grand Park Avenue and Executive Blvd). Follow the signs to the AMP elevator and go directly to level 4. The new Trade Street Garage is located at 11860 Trade Street, North Bethesda, MD 20852, right across from AMP and adjacent to the Per Sei apartments. Both are very convenient to the venue.
