Thornton Wilder’s heartwarming comedy The Matchmaker, providing inspiration for the hit Broadway musical Hello, Dolly!, introduces Horace Vandergelder, Mrs. Dolly Levi and their romantic dilemmas at the turn of the twentieth century. Horace requires the expertise of matchmaker - and widower - Dolly Levi to find a suitable wife. As their romantic web grows more complicated, Horace and Dolly encounter a series of humorous obstacles to their search. Along the way, they both realize that in Yonkers they won’t need to look very far to find love.

Parking is free after 7:00 PM and on weekends.
