Their music is raucous and vigorous, but with the focus and dedication of a band of truly exceptional musicians. Led by multi-instrumentalist Sergio Mendoza, Orkesta Mendoza’s music evokes the idiosyncratic cultural and musical blend of the Mexican-American border, while paying homage in rhythm and mood to the ’60s rock Mendoza grew up listening to. Described by Joey Burns, of Calexico, as “epic and soulful,” Orkesta Mendoza bring their latest album, ¡Vamos A Guarachar! to AMP for a night of dynamic sounds.

There are 2 available parking garages at AMP, including a new one on Trade Street. Valet parking will also be available for a $5 fee. The Old Georgetown Road Garage, located at 11580 Old Georgetown Road, North Bethesda, MD 20852, is directly beneath AMP. The best way to enter the garage is by making a right turn directly into the garage from westbound Old Georgetown Road (between Grand Park Avenue and Executive Blvd). Follow the signs to the AMP elevator and go directly to level 4. The new Trade Street Garage is located at 11860 Trade Street, North Bethesda, MD 20852, right across from AMP and adjacent to the Per Sei apartments. Both are very convenient to the venue.
