Five successful writers discuss the challenges faced by women in the writing world, and the many different paths available for a writing career. A presentation will be followed by questions from the audience.
In 2002, a group of women writers met in a workshop at The Writer's Center. Throughout the course of their workshop they grew together, their friendship blossoming throughout the the critique process. Fifteen years later they are all successful women working in the writing and publishing industry and they continue to meet regularly to discuss their lives, careers, and most importantly, their writing!
Join us for an informative afternoon discussing what it's like to be a woman in the writing world and the many different paths a writing career can take. Panelists Kathy Ramsperger, Cynthia Campbell, Donna Anderson, Anne McNulty, Alice Covington will speak about their vast experience in journalism, academia, humanitarianism, law, and beyond, and answer questions from the audience.
