Cuban singer and composer Daymé Arocena is a musician of exceptional warmth and powerful presence.
Combining contemporary Cuban music and Santerian chants with fluid jazz styling, her music synthesizes elements of her homeland and world music into an enrapturing musical fusion. Her live performances are equally captivating, immersing fragments of rumba rhythms and outbursts of scatting into her songs, and with the ability to “whip the audience into a call-and-response chant that proves her myriad talents are always in service of a communal experience” (The Los Angeles Times).

The best way to enter the garage is by making a right turn directly into the garage from westbound Old Georgetown Road (between Grand Park Avenue and Executive Blvd). Follow the signs to the AMP elevator and go directly to level 4. The new Trade Street Garage is located at 11860 Trade Street, North Bethesda, MD 20852, right across from AMP and adjacent to the Per Sei apartments. Both are very convenient to the venue.
