The Summer Reading Sessions are offered as part of the Montgomery Philharmonic’s 2015-2016 season. Sessions are open to musicians of all ages who are accomplished enough to play in a symphony orchestra and who have reasonable sight-reading skills. As in previous years, there will be many powerful scores. This romp through the literature gives us a chance to read in a non-threatening environment and simply enjoy the pieces. Each session will primarily be a read-through, with some rehearsal. Doubling is expected and acceptable.
