Join Highwood Theatre for The Robber Bridegroom, a whimsical, hysterical Southern bluegrass musical!
We're headed down the Natchez Trace for the hysterically whimsical bluegrass musical, The Robber Bridegroom! Based on the short story of the same name, this toe-tapping Southern fairytale tells the legend of Jamie Lockhart - a bandit whose double identity leads to hysterical hijinks, unexpected romance and a story for the ages.
The Robber Bridegroom performances will take place on Friday July 21 at 8 p.m., Saturday July 22 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Sunday July 23 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $17. A package deal of $45 for Highwood's three summer shows - The Robber Bridegroom, Into the Woods and The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 - is available. All shows will take place at the Highwood Theatre, 914 Silver Spring Ave, Silver Spring MD 20910. There is a large public parking garage located two doors down from our Silver Spring office and rehearsal space. Rates in the garage are $0.70/hour. Street parking is also available for $1.00/hour.
