The vast majority of successful stories have a bone structure of conflict, character, and complexity embedded in them. The workshop will uncover the pattern in three published stories and participants will learn to identify the pattern or its absence in their own stories. The three stories to be discussed will be emailed in advance of the workshop. Participants are encouraged to bring a story of their own for practice with the equation and a new checklist and a worksheet. NEW--the workshop will add in the classic freitag checkmark and a new five step checklist. All participants carry away a plan for strengthening their story's anatomy.
