Theory is great but writing is better! In this class students will have the chance to try their hand at writing narrative nonfiction. A variety of readings and exercises will get students started. We'll also use our time to share student work each week, discuss the basics of a strong proposal, and provide feedback on any proposals that are in the works. The goal is for each student to produce a work of narrative nonfiction based on their own reporting or from practice sets the instructor will provide.
