The Glen Echo Park Partnership presents a social Ballroom dance with live music by the Lucky Cats Jazz Orchestra. This ensemble performs dance music of the 1920s, '30s and '40s, providing an elegant re-creation of the great early-jazz dance bands of a bygone era. Lucky Cats Jazz Orchestra is made up of 12 instrumentalists and one vocalist, and features many former members of the Hot Society Orchestra.

The great instructors from Flying Feet Enterprises will teach a beginner dance lesson from 2 - 2:30 pm (included in the cost of admission), followed by dancing to live music from 2:30 - 4:30 pm. No partner or prior experience needed. The dance style featured in the beginner lesson will change each month - today's lesson will be on the Foxtrot.
