With specials on Showtime, HBO, and Comedy Central, Shoemaker’s relatable and charismatic comedic style has earned plaudits from audiences and critics alike. Known for his distinctive stage character, “The Lovemaster,” which spawned both a 1997 feature film written by and starring Shoemaker and a best-selling book, LoveMaster’d, Shoemaker’s goal is to find and harness the unifying power of laughter. Along with stand-up and writing, Shoemaker is also a prolific actor with appearances on NBC’s Parks & Recreation, Scream 2, Safe House, and the cult comedy Totally Baked (which he also wrote).

The best way to enter the garage is by making a right turn directly into the garage from westbound Old Georgetown Road (between Grand Park Avenue and Executive Blvd). Follow the signs to the AMP elevator and go directly to level 4. The new Trade Street Garage is located at 11860 Trade Street, North Bethesda, MD 20852, right across from AMP and adjacent to the Per Sei apartments. Both are very convenient to the venue.
