Join us as we sing to celebrate the legacy of Labor Day, Hispanic Heritage Month, and the bountiful Fall harvest!
On the 21st of every month we gather to share songs, community, and refreshments – and sometimes even a dance or two! We sing adult, kid and family songs. This September's themes include the Fall Equinox, Hispanic Heritage Month, and Harvest and Labor Songs!
6:30-8:00 — International Songs and Rounds for all ages
8:00-8:30 — Refreshments, Social Time, Celebration of September birthdays
Everyone is welcome to bring refreshments and songs to share.
Sign up in advance to lead a song by contacting Jo Rasi (jrasi@revelsdc.org or 301-587-3835). Or just show up to sing (or even just to listen)!
The Community Sings are a partnership of Washington Revels and Carpe Diem Arts.
The September Sing will take place at Bennington Drive Park; there is plentiful street parking in the neighborhood blocks around the park. In case of rain, we will meet at the usual location: Washington Revels Studio Space, 531 Dale Drive, Silver Spring, Maryland.
Free Admission! (donations gratefully appreciated)
