Bring your kids to hear Revelers read stories from all over the world!
Join us as we explore the magical, diverse world of children’s literature. We’ll journey through books old and new, from different countries and unique cultures — all delightful for kids of any age (but aimed at the 3-7 year-old set).
Enjoy stories such as The Mitten adapted by Jan Brett from Ukraine, Crucita and Her Piggy Bank by Aurora R. G. de Braniff from Mexico, Cat in Search of a Friend by Meshack Asare from Ghana, and stories from Québec, our 2017 Christmas Revels culture!
Plus, hear folktales from Japan, China, India, Iran, Persia, and more!
This Fall, we will meet every other Tuesday, beginning September 12, from 10:30 am-11:30 am. It’s open-house style, come whenever you like and stay as long as you like! Email Jo Rasi at jrasi@revelsdc.org with any questions or book recommendations.
Free Admission (donations gratefully appreciated)
