Students in this class focus on set construction and building the sets for Highwood Theatre’s student and professional productions throughout the year. Students who sign up for the entire semester are assigned lead roles (Master Carpenter, Master Painter, etc.) for each production as it comes up. Any student can also “drop-in” to the class to help out. Students consistently learn how to interpret building diagrams, dimensions, use power tools and other woodworking techniques, as well as painting and finishing.
