Seize the day and dance away the night!
Enjoy the fun and the mental and physical health benefits of dancing with others! No experience required: each session starts with a 30-minute lesson at the beginning, and then dances are “called” (the steps are called out loud so you can follow along) throughout the remainder of the evening. All levels of experience welcome. October’s Dance features the Sligo Creek Stompers (Sarah Foard, Adrian Erlinger, Jess Eliot Myhre, and Chris Ousley) with caller Gabe Popkin. Presented by Carpe Diem Arts in partnership with the Folklore Society of Greater Washington, and Washington Revels, with support from BE ACTIVE: Montgomery County Department of Recreation.
TICKETS: Free to first-timers! $10 general; $8 FSGW, BFMS, CDSS members & Washington Revels; $5 students and those without income
