First They Killed My Father

First They Killed My Father, a film by Angelina Jolie - Directed by Angelina Jolie and Co-produced by Rithy Panh, a critically acclaimed Cambodian documentary film director.

This film tells the story of a national tragedy through the eyes of a child. The audience will consider how the film's subject relates to other worlds and U.S. foreign policy decisions, including how the Vietnam War and Cambodian bombings gave rise to the Khmer Rouge regime.

The film is adapted from the acclaimed memoir by Cambodian author and human rights activist Loung Ung

Panel Discussion featuring Mr. Ben Bao, President of Cambodian Community Day Inc, Joel Gershon, filmmaker and American University Lecturer, and Dr. Alfred Munzer, Holocaust survivor.
